Difficulty on starting!

I have put my self a side, soothed my rather negative feelings by eating and gained weight.. so much that scale was showing 112.9kg on 1st of January 2014 and I can´t remember that I would have weighed that much for years and years.. if never. My problem is that I hate sport, love fancy clothes (which I don´t even fit on to now) and I love food. This is my journey towards healthier and happier me.

1st Day Juicing

First day was not too bad.
I started day with 10km walk to same old park where I always go with my little dog..
Weather was nice, no rain, no sun, just nice plain autumn day.
My weight have creeped back up a bit, so it was already 104.45kg when I started Juicing on first day.
Evening felt hard, and I felt cold and hungry.

I did treatment with Derma Pen and my skin is looking rather horrible at the moment.. I feel sorry for my partner looking lady drinking something that looks like some green stuff taken from pond with frogs and having facial skin like.. 100y old ladies before it heals!
Teeth whitening was effective too, can highly recommend it (not too often though.)

103.2kg after summer, and returning to diet

Hi everyone,
It took while from me to get back to you all but here I am.
Gained some weight, but nothing very drammatic, still gutted that I was silly and ate like idiot during the summer and did not drop weight.. instead I was putting it on.
I did not dare to go on scale before I felt that I had gone down a little.. so might be that I had gained more..

But.. I have 6 weeks time to get as much shape as possible as I am going to have something important happening in my life and I have to make sure I look my best there!!
(no not weedings I am afraid but work related.. and as competition is so hard I have to be up to date with it all.)
Among loosing weight I try to get my hair grow longer, get better skin, and whiter teeths..
and I am using some help on that!

This is my plan for success!

For weight loss: 
-I am eating 5-HTP to keep my self positive about this all.. among that I am taking Selenium, and B6 vitamine and Panthotenic Acid, Zinc and Lactobacillus Asidophilus capsules. 
All this because I try to built up my immune system to prevent me getting ill and help me in this weight loss process.
-3 x Long walks with dog every week ( I walk with her 3 times a day shorter walkies but long is really.. a long walk which takes about 2h.
-3 x Powerplate training per week. (if weather is crap then more)
-I go out for dog walk every morning with empty stomach, and when returning home I take portion of my protein shake. I don´t use Vi Shakes anymore because they caused me allergic reaction. (soy it self.. ) I add some berries or what ever I feel fits in!

For Growing back my long hair
It got destroyed because I wanted highlights.. and I have too thin hair for such..
-I am eating "It Works" capsules called: Hair Nails Skin. I haven´t started yet, have ordered them from USA so kee your fingers crossed that it works for me, as I have seen awesome photos of people who´s hair is nice and long.
-Mega-Tek rebuilder conditioner, which is often used on horses ( I know hahahah) But it was created originally for cancer patients who grew their hair back. My fried recommended it to me (horse owner who uses it too for her hair) so let´s hope it makes uge difference too! My hair got so dry and brittle that it looks really sad.. I had to cut it already 10cm and I think another 5 has to go again.. I want my hair back. It was silly idea to have highlights when I know that my hair is to thin that it can not tolerate bleach.

I have nice teeth but would like them to be whiter.. I met two girls last summer in Finland and they both had an amazingly white beautiful teeth and when I asked what had they done to it this was their answer.. and I have now used it twice and have obvious difference already! I have to be careful that I don´t go over the top with them.

Better Skin and no Eye bags
-I have started noticing fine lines around my eyes but worst are my under eye bags..
All and all I think texture of my skin looks dull and tiered. So I have to do something for it.
As I am former beauty professional I have few things in my sleeve..
I bought my self a Derma Pen. It is more sophisticated version of Derma roller and it is easier to treat eye area with that. I have found dramatic results before and after photos of people. So let´s hope it works for me too. I am going to do course of 5 treatments to rebuilt collagen on my face.
-I have also bought different type of serums to use with Derma Pen which helps them to sink in to skin. I can´t wait to get to try it.

With in all this.. I am really tempted to try "It Works" body Wraps,  and also fat freezing technique that some people have done at home.. anyway.. 6 weeks to go! If I get 5kg of in that time I would be really happy and it would make me feel better about my self again.

I went to M&S and bought my self a pair of trousers size 16!!
It feels quite amazing.
Last summer was just so unhappy about my self that this has turned out to be amazing.. I feel strong and positive about things and really all due to my weight loss.

102.7kg (16st) I have lost -10kg

I am soooo Happy. I have lost now 10kg (1.57st or 26.7lbs)

I promised you photo after every 5kg (13lbs) So here it comes!!

Needless to say how proud of my self I am. My double chin is gone, my arm is thinner, and I have my waist back. It is amazing. I finally fit in to my Extra slim white skinny jeans. They could be looser but hey, soon they will be. I will continue on this path. My life has taken turn in to a better. 

 


My Goal is to loose 30lbs till the end of the March. So I still have some days to go. I had no time to post my goal picture on a same day I hit the target (that was 4 days a go already and I have gone down in weight since.. so I am sure I am going to hit my target -30lbs in 90days. Then I have completed my full ninety days ViShake challenge and can be quite happy how it has gone. I hope you have so far enjoyed following my journey. It will not end here.. I still have more to loose. All and all my goal is to loose 66lbs so still lot to do.. I am so going to rock my Bikinis on vacation with my hubby. He is exited about my weight loss too. I wish I would have someone who could take my first picture, and create a black shadow of me in a first photo and then take me out from last photo and place me on top of the shadow to show how much my body shape is changed. It is just amazing. I was joking that my goal is Kim Kardashian body for summer.. (Kimmies body before all but injections.. ) and amazing enough.. my waist is starting to be really trim.. lot more than ever i think. All that hard walking is paying off.

103.5kg have lost 9.4kg/20.7lbs

My 90 Days Challenge is going down well. I am so proud of my self.
Last 7 days has felt difficult. My weight has been stuck and I ate Wheat from somewhere (I have celiac) so got really bad stomach pain etc... not fun really.
But when I went to scale, I have lost more than I thought!!
it is going down slowly but surely and it makes me soooo happy.

I think my key all the way has been Protein shakes. They keep my sweet tooth happy when I add things in and they also keep my hunger on bay. I am sure I would have not been able to do this without it. I have really tried all possible diets, even eaten perscription medication for weight loss and it did not work. It did for little while but.. no.. I lost something and when stopped eating medication I gained everything back and little extra. It made me throughly unhappy. This , I feel has given me a new way in life, totaly new Start!

600g (1.3lbs) still and my third photo has to be taken. I take it after every 5kg (11lbs)
to see the difference. and I must say difference is just amazing.

I was putting away some clothes that are too big for me that I have been using but also looking my summer clothes that where too small for me last summer and OMG they are too big for me!!!
I am so amazed. Some of them I saved and I am hoping we can perhaps try to sew in them a little as I like some of them so much but really... My too small clothes are starting to be too big for me..
Hello summer 2014.. I am going to be tanned and thin!

I am already waiting to wear my white skinny jeans and high heels.

104.2kg WHEEEHEEEE!!

WHAAAT!! This is amazing!
I have gone down 8.7kg since first of January.
It is 19.1lbs  or 1.4st)
Have just packed HUGE suitcase of my old clothes away that I will either sell them and give rest to charity shop. I am astonished.

My 90day challenge has gone better than well I could say.

Went to massage today, as I have walked so much that my legs are starting to be really stiff and it did really good to me.. That was my treat and tonight will go and watch Grand Hotel Budabest with my friend. WHat a nice life I have!

105.2kg Feeling Fit

I am feeling so much better than before.
Going out for walk does not make me tiered, but actually energised and happy.
Have tend to walk 3km to cafeteria, take Flat White coffee with skimmed milk and walk on top of hill in primrose hill (park) and enjoy skyline of London and let my dog run free and just relax for a moment and then keep running. It feels amazing when come home, I am awake, haeppy, done my sport and I feel strong and feel fitter and fitter every day.
I have been packing away clothes that are way too big for me and it feels so good to let go of things like that.
Was trying out some dresses that I was wearing last summer and they look lot nicer on me now when I don´t have so much kilo´s that lard is hanging out from every little fold of the dress..
I had no option last summer but to wear them. I just had to.
It was so hard, I felt depressed, ugly, fat and so unhappy about my self.
Obviously there was reason for all that and it was not just me eating my self unhappy.. It was me BEING un happy and eating because I am emotional eater.. and when things went wrong in working life I just baked, ate, baked , ate, cooked ate, and it was vicious sircle.

Now I have found people to share this healthier lifestyle and I really enjoy about it.

1st down!! (-6.8kg) ..and about 30days left from 90days challenge!

This has been success this far, and protein has helped me to keep my hunger in bay SO well.
I just mix it up with berries, coffee, chocolate powder, green tea maccha powder, or anything really.. pineapple, what ever I can find, just chuck it all in to jug and blend.
It is marvellous. I have still another 30days to go in 90day challenge and I am already down this much!
Imagine.. ONE STONE!! Can you freeking believe it!

I gave my self something little yesterday.. 3 pairs of shoes  and pair of new trainers!

Ladies have never enough high heels.. 

I have been doing quite a lot of sport. Daily walks with dog and LONG walk every day when it is not rain, normal is about 8km (about 5miles) but we have done few long ones with my friend Reija.
Longest was 16km (about 10miles) and imagine, I still felt energised after that!!
It is fantastic to realise how I develop, I am not out of breath anymore, and I feel so strong that it has all and all effected my mood. Shakes are best thing that has happen to me. Sound silly but I have tried every diet you can name.. even prescription medication for weight loss.. and it did not do it.

After walking like maniac I needed new pair of trainers.. old ones in the middle and new mint green ones on my feet!! These will take me far, and I love them.

All my sport clothes are crazy bright colours, it makes me feel  happy and positive about sport! 

I can fit in to my old skinny jeans, but I am very "hungry for being skinnier" so have lot to do..
I am aiming to go down 25kg (4st) and that should be already reached coming  summer!

I want to thank Rachael, for giving me the kick I needed.   Vi Shake did it for me, it gave me good start.

107.2kg and lot of sport

I haven´t been writing for while now, I have done so much sport that it has been taking so much my time that have forgotten to write anything.
I am pleased about my results with my weight, this 1kg per week was working for me, it keeps me driven and even that I have not lost as much as I was planning it makes me try much more than abstract -25kg (4st) at ones..

I am happy, I fit in to my old skinny jeans, and I am so over the moon that I actually loose weight this well and I feel so positive about it all. I think key has been to make sure I have enough protein when I eat and it keeps my hunger in bay and I don´t have such a sugar gravings as I had before.

Have done "summer style" album at pinterest to try to plan what can I wear when I am thinner, and I have quite a lot of nice clothes in store and can wear some of them already when I get another 5kg away.

I have done lot os sport, on Sunday had 10km walk (about 6.2miles) Tuesday had 8km (about 5miles)
and today aqua jogging in pool.. and tomorrow good walk again.
I realise I have to do more sport, to keep my fat burning.
I have also new App in use, and I love it. It is telling me exactly where I am with my weight and do I need to work out more etc.

This is first time for years I have joy of being active and doing sport, and it feels amazing!

107.9kg today!!

I have lost exactly 5kg today!! (11.2lbs)
Very proud, indeed.
Surely this is not as much as I wanted me to loose as my goal was 1kg per week.. but never the less this is great. I have even eated little bit of cake yesterday but other than that I have been pretty good with my eating. Lot of Cottage cheese with pineapple (I love it) Berries and Quark (huge mount of Protein in that one) and fruits, berries, veggies.. and FISH.
Will continue on this journey for sure.
I bought my self a nice new shirt, it is from Alberta Ferretti and it was actually so good price that I might just walk down there and buy size smaller just in case because I love it.

I have been walking a lot. it has been so rainy that it has annoyed me a bit, whole UK flooding and I feel so sorry for people who has lost their homes, so being a bit annoyed is almost silly but in real, I try my everything to really loose this weight. So every rainy day (it really is pouring rain, not just some little drops here and there) means that I don´t get to do so much sport as I would like to.

I had thought of all kind of rewards to my self when I am done with 5kg but now.. the actual fact that I am 5kg lighter makes me feel so good that I don´t need much really.
Dates with my hubby is best thing and he has planned a surprise for me at Valentines day!!

Maybe I will give my self a little something when I am done with 10kg.

I have lost more weight!!! Hallelujah, and all the rest.
My weight got stuck in some point, maybe because "hormonal reasons" I was so swollen that weight just stayed on same for last week and it was really irritating.

I have beautiful new Sport jacket that is little too snug for me, so really waiting for to get it on.. I thin another 4kg should do it!!

Hard times

Weight loss is somehow jammed.

I ended up eating candy on date night out with my hubby.. I felt nausea after that it was too sweet..

But.. other than that I have been pretty good.
Shakes are still going down and keeping me happy.
I have to to shop today and get more skimmed milk and frozen berries to make my shakes so that I keep my self on track. Had few days brake and I realised I start getting really bad sweet gravings..

I found Jillian Michaels 30days shred challenge with you guys. I just have to get thinner.. there is no chance I will give up now. I already see my self in Bikinis!!

Beach Fashion

Going to a beach is just not about having a towel and lying on a beach.. it is place to be seen looking at your best.. yes, in hot sun. It can be challenging but there are some tips you might want to have..

First, What is your team? Mine was 1960´s film stars at Amalfi last year.. this year I try to think more of an Exotic Jungle meets beach life!

Tantastic!!

Squat & Planking going well.. was really aching after first two days.. but it is getting better now and I can´t wait to see results. Would love to add hula hoop to my routine.
I have made my self a play list from you tube and dance around when too bored to do other things.. it is burning calories.. YAY!

What am I going wear on a beach next spring/summer!?

TAN!! I have to have a good tan. I am big believer of sunscreen and try to keep my skin away from sun, but still want a nice tan. I often start my tan on going 3-5 times to solarium, to actually get used to sun that I don´t burn my self in sun right away when go to pool.. so that is not just for the colour it is safety too, but.. any self tanner, spray tan, anything looks better on you if you have tiny bit of colour already before you apply it.
My all times favourites have been St.Tropez products. They give nice colour, not at all yellow, but very natural and as product it self looks like melted chocolate it is easier to apply it evenly, to avoid any hazards.
Great and cheap! 

I start by eating sun capsules from Holland & Barret about 4 weeks before all this to prepare my skin for summer!

THEN..

1. Start by exfoliating my skin week before I start my tanning process in solarium. 3 days a row exfoliating and moisturising. I use just normal caster sugar and baby oil for it. First long hot shower and then lot´s of sugar and very little baby oil.. best results

2. After good exfoliating is solarium time.. I go few times just as I am and then few times using excelerator to get deeper result.

3. Shaving.. or any kind of hair removal must be done an advanced, other wise your pores are so visible that you get "dotted look" when apply self tanner.. so I shave day before I put self tan.. and normally keep hair off anyway by regular shave. I don´t like wax.. it just hurts too much.

Body Polish is great too if don´t want to use sugar


4. When you have exfoliated, and shaved day before.. then tanning can be done.
I always moisturise my hands and feet first, also my elbows and knees and rub moisturiser to my toenails and cuticles  ( make sure you have nail polish on that you don´t colour your nails too) and any place that seems dry or prone to get too dark..

St.Tropez Self tan Lotion is best in my opinion. 

5. Wear a disposable gloves.. and start adding colour. Go one leg by time, and got higher from there. When you have done all, a part face and hands, add self tanner and face moisturiser and mix them well and add to your face, then: take gloves off and add self tanner to back of your hands (not palms) and spread by using the other back of hand.. results should be great.. better than in any salon.



I must say that colour is very impressive..

109.5kg and feeling like winner

It is silly how happy I actually feel!
My weight has not gone down as much as I was hoping but still, in healthy way, if I drop it like this, I am getting to my goal weight eventually.
I have few motivation things.. like dreaming of new nice bag and shoes.. and dress for next summer..
Ah.. It has been hard somehow being on diet but I am starting to get used to it.
I have started to get Allergy from something lately, seriously bad skin rashes.. Not fun.
Must try to clean my eating a little to see what has changed.

 Ocean Club Calling.. I can so do this!

I want my Missoni Bikinis and Sun Glasses, cold margarita and good tan!

I was challenging my friends for squat and planking challenge starting from Saturday! 
Will you join in!! When big muscle groups work so hard, they also burn calories and that helps you to loose weight. This is taking so little your time daily that we all could literally do this twice a day if we want.. but never mind, start ones a day.

New wardrobe for thinner me.

I love dreaming of getting thinner.. and now when it actually starts happening it feels even better.
Have thought of just a normal style I will be wearing, easy, versatile, something that I can literally wear almost anywhere..  I love the idea that I can travel over the weekend and easily pack my things to weekender and don´t have to carry too much things with me.

110.4kg ..blah.

Had Monday weighing yesteray.. and BLAAAHHH...

Ok, wanted my weight to be lot less but it was not.
All though seems like my waste has shrank a little as my skinny jeans are not killing me so badly anymore that in few weeks time I can consider wearing them first time for over a year!! Amazziinggg!!

I went to shopping today and bought my self a lovely jacket I can wear when I am little thinner than this.. it is for later spring as it is light weight black with pink zipper, very feminine and nice and under it a pink sweat top!

I have spoken to friend of mine for taking a part for my diet and seems to work.. she was sport clothes shopping today with me!! YAY!

Folks, I am going to make it!

Anything negative... well yes.. something is causing me really bad allergy, my skin is killing me as it felt so itchy yesterday and kept being like it for 9h until 1h in cool shower, antihistamine and hydrocortisone balm. Not fun. Today, eating clean so that I can start finding out what causes those crazy reactions.

Diet..

I have been rather good last days, only ate 5 candies on Friday and had massive regrets from them.
I was weighing my self the other day and worryingly my weight had not gone down at all but someone said to me it might be due to all sport I have done as muscles also hold fluids if I exercise a lot, which I have done this week.
Wednesday walked to school ( I go German classes on Mondays and Wednesdays) and walked 8km to school, then had just walked on last Sunday 10km. All and all lot of walking, healthy diet and I can´t go wrong. I will just keep up and wish my weight moves to more desired numbers next week.
I have fell in love with my protein drinks, Vanilla Vi Shake and I always add skimmed milk and then mix it with something.

Morning normally starts with:
300ml Skimmed milk
2 Scoops of Vi Shake protein powder
3 Tea spoons of instant coffee

I mix it all with blender and make it a nice iced coffee for morning.
Now have added cinnamon and cardamom the other morning and it was delicious!

Other of my favourites is:
300ml Skimmed Milk
2 Scoops of Vi Shake protein powder
1 Handful of frozen forest berries (sold in Waitrose)

I mix it all with blender and it ends up being a fantastic delicious, almost like a desert!
...and best of all it is guilt free!  It is so thick due to frozen berries that will freeze the milk too, that you can spoon it in to your mouth and let it melt there.

One great thing is that when I loose weight with Vi Shakes I don´t have sweet gravings that I would often have when I try to loose weight. I drink/eat two shakes during the day, then take an apple or dried peanuts for snack, and eat BIG Salad and fish in the evening.
I avoid carbs and feel fantastic and lot more positive I have ever felt when I have lost weight.

Must be something to do with those magical shakes..

I bougt new sport clothing and feel fantastic about them, it is nice to go out to have a good brisk walk when I have right clothing for it and they make me feel little fitter than I actually am.. leading to better results on my walks and more steps.

My Friend is moving to Marbella in few weeks time and she has invited me over there, so I have to be in GREAT shape if I want to go to Ocean Club for a day. It would be way too embarrassing to be like huge white whale where people are all toned and tanned. So.. I have to keep my goal in mind.

I found a humorous shirt I´d love to get.. TOWIE girls looks often SO Glamorous in Marbella that I have to keep it in mind. Me being a boring opera singer could take some pool style tips from those girls!

110.7kg

After week of eating rather healthy food I went to surprise afternoon tea with my hubby. It was LOVELY, but I ended up eating cakes and scones and anything that was served and felt nausea later on simply because ate too much sweet. So.. effect was expected to be seen this morning when I stepped on scale.

Instead of Loosing 1kg like I had promised to my self.. My Weight is now 11o.7kg and I am over the moon. I have lost more than 1kg!


It was good as long as it lasted.

This has taught me that if I am cool with my eating most of the times little slip here and there won´t destroy my diet.

111.8kg and lot of Sport

I have forgotten to put my weight here!! First of January was such a shock for me.. I am whale.. not a fun feeling.. but have kept my promise to my self and keep in diet.. so already 6th January my weight had gone down to 111.8kg and will keep weighing my self always on Mondays.

I have been out a whole day, I went for nice walk with my hubby and dog.. 1.55am-2.40pm WALKING whole time, just a quick cup of coffee and then continued. Dog is done, she is sleeping in my bed and I am done too. Had quick bite and then nap time.
I am feeling wishful that this time I am going to make it with my diet as 1kg should not be too much and idea is keeping me positive.

Tomorrow is my weighing day.. so Fingers crossed.

I need Kettlebell at home as I like doing things with it! But how big? 3kg?

I ended up eating like monster today.. Tomorrow weight will not be beautiful thing..

..Oh and by the way, I have ordered my self a size 16 Leather look denim jeggins. I have always wanted a leather trousers but they are too hot and thick and all.. and also look horrible on too fat person.. so mine are now size 16 and those I will wear later this spring together with high heels and silk blouse! ( I am Size 20 at the moment.. so I need to go down two dress sizes in order to wear them)

112.9kg, 1st January 2014



This is what I saw.. I have always thought that WHY does before and after pictures of people have to be so crazy, I mean.. seriously depressed looking whales in photos.. and now I know.. BECAUSE  in most of "before" photos people feel depressed and really crap about them selves and that is how I was too while taking these photos.. Seeing your self from such an angles and being horrified how do I really look.. OMG. Here we go again. My Friend had lost 25kg by adding protein shakes to he´s diet and I will do same.. and continue as long as I can as this is really getting in to my nerves. I am using Vi Shake and this far it has tasted GREAT. I have 2 of those during the day and then eat in the evening.

I have idea of loosing 1kg per week and as was too shocked about my self did not start this blog untill today but my measurements at 1st January where:

I am 180cm tall (5.11ft)
112.9kg (17.7st)
My waist was  119cm.. say no more.

I am trying to loose 26kg (4st)

I stepped on scale on monday 6th January and weight was 111.7kg (17. 59st) so I have lost just as much as I wanted and even 200g more.
I am sure first kilo´s are gone easier than then when 10kg is gone I have to work harder on those that are left..
